2025 Toyota Corolla Cross Exterior & Interior
The Toyota Corolla Cross, despite its name, bears no similarity to its namesake. Instead, it has a completely new appearance that pulls style ideas from the larger RAV4. In terms of size, the model fits between the C-HR and the RAV4, satisfying the desire for a tiny crossover that can actually haul some stuff.

The current Corolla Cross, like most Toyota models, comes standard with a slew of safety features, including automated emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, active lane control, and automatic high lights. Blind-spot monitors are added to LE models, and parking sensors and rear cross-traffic braking are added to XLE vehicles. We anticipate that these standard features will remain unchanged in 2025. The Corolla Cross has not yet been evaluated by the IIHS or the NHTS.
2025 Toyota Corolla Cross Engine
The Corolla Cross has one gas engine option under the hood: a 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 169 horsepower and 150 pound-feet of torque. This engine works in tandem with a continuously variable transmission to send power to either the front or all four wheels. The main distinction between the Corolla Cross and the smaller C-HR is the availability of all-wheel drive on the Corolla Cross. Toyota has stated that a Corolla Cross Hybrid will be released, although the powertrain specs are unknown. Logic dictates that it will be an enhanced version of the Corolla Hybrid’s 121-hp 1.8-liter hybrid unit, as it will be far too underpowered for a car of this size. Unconfirmed reports also suggest a possible plug-in hybrid vehicle. The range of the Corolla Cross PHEV remains an option question.
2025 Toyota Corolla Cross Price & Release date
The 2025 Toyota Corolla Cross is expected to be released in late 2022. Pricing for the 2025 Corolla Cross will begin at $24,395 plus destination. According to our calculations, this equals a $600 price rise over the prior year. For comparison, current Corolla Cross prices begin at $23,780. The hybrid’s and speculated PHEV’s MSRPs have yet to be published.
