2024 Kia Carnival–For 2024, the Carnival will only experience two minor modifications, both of which will only affect the EX trim. With the exception of a power-operated rear liftgate, this mid-range grade no longer includes automatic up/down power windows.The Carnival is available in four trim levels, ranging from the budget-conscious LX to the opulent SX Prestige, but the EX strikes the ideal balance between features and cost. A power-operated rear liftgate, an in-cabin intercom, and a voice-control system that enables passengers in the back to give commands to the Carnival’s entertainment system are just a few of the convenience features included with the EX trim that assist to make the cost of upgrading more reasonable.
2024 Kia Carnival Exterior
The standard grade comes with a good amount of standard equipment, including 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and daytime running lights, heated mirrors with integrated turn signals, tinted windows, silver exterior trim, body-color door handles with chrome trim, black window surrounds, and a black exhaust outlet.A hands-free motorized tailgate with auto-close is added to the EX level along with 19-inch alloy wheels.Unique 19-inch wheels with a black finish, LED fog lights, acoustic front side glass, power-folding mirrors, and grille trim made of matte chrome are all included in the SX trim.The SX Prestige’s top-tier features include improved LED headlights and LED tail lamps.
2024 Kia Carnival Interior
The Honda Odyssey and Toyota Sienna, two minivan rivals, have measurements that are almost comparable to the Carnival’s length of 203 inches and width of 78.5 inches. The eight-seat Kia has 40.5 inches of second-row legroom, 39.5 inches of headroom, and 35.6 inches of third-row legroom. With 40.2 cubic feet of space behind the last bench and 86.9 cubic feet with it folded, the cargo capacity is equally as roomy. Fold both rows to create an opening of 145 cubic feet, which is roughly equivalent to the Honda’s enormous volume. On the SX Prestige level, captains chairs are a free option.
2024 Kia Carnival Engine
A 3.5-liter V-6 engine producing a hearty 290 horsepower powers the Carnival; an eight-speed automatic transmission is standard. The Carnival is only available as a front-wheel-drive model, hence all-wheel drive is not an option. The Toyota Sienna and the Pacifica both offer plug-in hybrid powertrains as options, but the Carnival doesn’t have either of those options. The Carnival’s smooth ride and handling, which is composed in corners but yet agile when cruising, impress us. At our test track, the smooth V-6 engine propelled the Carnival to 60 mph in 7.0 seconds with brisk acceleration.
