2025 Ford Explorer–Even though the Ford Explorer 2022 model hasn’t even been unveiled, what are believed to be leaked images of the 2025 Explorer have surfaced online and are causing a stir.
2025 Ford Explorer Exterior
The spy images appear to solely show an update to the exterior’s appearance. The SUV looks to have new wheels, restyled vents on either side of the front bumper, significantly altered head and taillights, and, most noticeably, a new grille design. There is no assurance that these modifications will endure or even be seen on American fashion models. The images, which purport to be from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, depict the Explorer for the Chinese market, even though the two versions use the same platform.
2025 Ford Explorer Interior
The 2022 model is anticipated to maintain the more traditional, rugged SUV appearance while also retaining some sleekness thanks to its body lines and cozy interior. But with these leaked images, everyone is now concentrating on the 2025 model year.
2025 Ford Explorer Engine
The 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine from the most recent Explorer is also present in both the Chinese and American models. This produces 310 pound-feet of torque and 300 horsepower. The ST and King Ranch are higher trim levels, and they come with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine with 400 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque. Although it hasn’t been confirmed, we don’t currently think the engine choices will change for the 2025 model.
2025 Ford Explorer Price & Release date
Ford will begin producing the 2025 Explorer in November, according to fleet production data, however orders may be placed as early as August. The Ford Explorer is reportedly also getting an all-electric model, but that won’t be available until 2025. This makes it an additional much anticipated electric release following the Mustang Mach-E, whose delivery is now delayed, and the F-150 Lightning, whose manufacturing is rumored to begin in 2022. The Ford Explorer’s price hasn’t been released yet for 2025. The MSRP for the base model in use today is $34,170, and unless there are upgrades that are announced at a later time, we anticipate that the 2025 model will be priced similarly.
