2025 Kia Forte–After a makeover last year, the 2025 Kia Forte is back without any notable changes. The LX trim takes the place of the standard FE trim. The base costs for the four Kia Forte variants, LX, LXS, GT-Line, and GT, range from $20,585 to $25,285.
2025 Kia Forte Exterior & Interior
The LX stands out for its body-colored mirrors, 15-inch alloys, 4.2-inch multi-information display, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, and six-way manually adjusted driver and passenger seats. It also has three exterior paint options. The LXS features 16-inch alloy wheels, improved inside door trim, and makes more safety equipment available. With 17-inch wheels, gloss black door mirrors with integrated turn signals (and heating), proximity entry with remote start, LED fog lights, headlights, and taillights, the GT-Line receives sportier exterior styling. This includes a revised grille and lower front fascia with red accents, black rocker panel trim, a rear spoiler, and these features. Dual-zone climate control, sport seats covered in synthetic leather and fabric, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter, and alloy sport pedals are added to the interior. 18-inch wheels, LED lighting, a sport exhaust with dual exhaust tips, an improved rear suspension, and red stitching on the seats are all included in the top model. Sunroof, heated synthetic leather seats, LED interior lighting, audio enhancements, and summer performance tires are additional features of the manual transmission model.
2025 Kia Forte Engine
The Forte has a continuously variable transmission and a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque. The GT comes with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission with paddle shifters and a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 201 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual transmission can also be used with the more potent engine. The EPA estimates that the popular mid-range trims will get 29 city, 39 highway, and 33 combined miles per gallon. The GT gets 27, 35, and 30 combined mpg, which is much less than the manual transmission’s 26 combined mpg. Although that is less than its athletic rivals, it merely needs regular octane. Only front wheels are driven in the Forte.
