2025 Kia K5–The 2025 Kia K5 impresses because to its supportive seats, a wealth of standard tech and driver-assistance functions, a comfortable ride, and an intuitive infotainment system. Although it’s not as luxurious as some of its competitors or the most exciting vehicle to drive, the Kia sedan has a lot to offer. The lowest trim is now the 2025 Kia K5 LXS, however it is no longer offered with all-wheel drive; only the GT-Line grade offers it now. 2025 Kia K5 Exterior & Interior
With standout LED daytime running lights, illuminated door handles, body-color heated door mirrors, remote start, proximity entry with a smart trunk, 16-inch alloy rims, and variable wipers, the LXS is well-equipped for the lowest level. Inside, there are several standout features, including a tilt and telescope steering wheel, cloth seats, a 4.2-inch driver information display, dual-zone climate control, and one-touch opening of the driver’s window. A distinctive front and back bumper, gloss-black mirrors, LED headlights and turn signals, a black rear spoiler, LED fog lights, a clean dashed row of premium-looking LED taillights, and distinctive 18-inch alloy wheels all serve to visually distinguish the GT Line. The GT-Line also includes a leather-wrapped GT-Line steering wheel, 10-way power driver adjustment, and fabric and synthetic-leather seat upholstery. The heated steering wheel and heated front seats are extra features available on all-wheel-drive models. A panoramic roof with a power sunshade, ambient interior lighting, and additional gloss-black exterior trim are included with the $1,000 GT-Line Panoramic Sunroof Package. In addition to unique 18-inch wheels, gloss-black exterior trim, wood interior trim, a panoramic sunroof, leather ventilated seats, rear air conditioning vents, and LED interior lighting, the EX trim shares comparable aesthetics with the LXS trim. The EX Premium Package ($3,600) adds heated steering wheel, one-touch window control, upgraded audio, driver position memory, power-folding mirrors with integrated turn signals, LED rear combination lights, and a surround-view camera system in addition to the safety features of the GT-Line Premium Package. The GT trim comes with quad exhaust outlets, larger brakes, more powerful calipers, and 19-inch wheels and wider tires. It also has a sport-tuned suspension. The side bolsters on the seats are given additional contour, and the sportier grade has its own paddle shifters and accents on the steering wheel.
The K5 fits in a small gap between the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry with five seats and a length of 193.1 inches. Although it has 35.2 inches of back legroom and 37.8 inches of rear headroom, this vehicle has less legroom than the competitors by three to five inches. 16 cubic feet of cargo space are available, and foldable seatbacks are standard. The LXS has an eight-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, while the GT-Line has a 10.3-inch screen with navigation, SiriusXM, and remote services. Six speakers are used to produce sound, while the EX and GT trims also provide a Bose sound system.
2025 Kia K5 Engine
There are two different powerplant options for the K5. With the exception of the GT, all grades come standard with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 180 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. The GT instead has a huge 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that produces 290 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission (with a torque converter) is used with the less powerful engine, and an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission is used with the more powerful engine. All-wheel drive is only available on the GT-Line for $1,700, and front-wheel drive is the default. The EPA estimates that the base front-wheel drive configuration gets 31 combined, 37 mpg on the interstate, and 27 mpg in the city. These numbers drop to 25, 33, and 28, respectively, with all-wheel drive.
